Jaipur Quilts

 

Our Jaipur quilts are made from 100% organic cotton by talented crafters in Rajasthan, India. They are made using a traditional technique called hand block printing; whereby artisans hand-carve patterns into wooden blocks which takes several hours or days, depending on the detail. The blocks are then dipped in natural dyes and printed onto the cotton fabric to transfer the intricate pattern. This is repeated throughout the length of the fabric & the result is a beautiful, bold, 100% hand crafted textile. The fabric is filled with 100% cotton & carefully hand stitched to create a quilt.
