Product Description
100% Hand crafted rug
This kilim was handwoven by a Berber woman in the Zemmour tribe in Morocco. It is made from flat woven wool and then hand embroidered very intricately with wool also, creating a 100% authentic & unique rug. The combination of white, neutral, grey and intricate detail of this rug make it extremely versatile for different styled interiors and spaces. It is a masterpiece which can be passed on for generations.
Our Berber rugs are handmade in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco using 100% sheep's wool. Each rug is a unique work of art, with a combination of patterns, symbols, and vibrant colours that tell a story known only to the artisan who made it. No two rugs are exactly alike, making each one a truly special addition to your home. The traditional techniques used to create these textiles have been passed down through generations of skilled artisans. Each rug is traditionally finished with a fringe on one side of the rug; a distinctive detail symbolising the end of the story & the finished rug, which sets Moroccan rugs apart from all other rugs.
